GUEST RESORT SERVICES – SANDCASTLE LESSONS

Description: A 1x/week or 2x/week scheduled resort activity for the whole family – fun filled, engaging, two-hour SandCastle Lesson, equipment provided, typically two SandCastle Coaches.

Retractions: Limited to 20 people. A BSS lanyard is required for participation. Children 4 and under are free with participating, adult. One participating adult required for every 5 children or family group – whichever is less. An adult is 18 years of age. BSS will provide 20 lanyards for each lesson – these lanyards will be used for admittance into the lesson. Only participants who are present during the Demo Carve will be a mentor during the remainder of the SandCastle Lesson.

On the day of Your SandCastle Lesson, your SandCastle Coaches will arrive before the scheduled time of the lesson to set up on your beach. They will need access to a designated beach location, stored equipment, and water spigot.

Payment Policy Credit Card: Guest Resort Services require a 50% Retainer of Total Project at the time of booking through FareHarbor (online booking). The remaining amount (50%) shall be processed on the credit card on file after Specialty Sand Sculpture or Event has been completed.
Invoiced: Specialty Sand Sculpture or Event requiring an invoice will be booked after receipt of 50% Retainer. The remaining amount will be charged to the credit card on file upon completion of Specialty Sand Sculpture or Event or invoiced. Specialty Sand Sculpture or Event requiring an invoice for final payment will be invoiced after completion. Invoices not paid within 30 days will be assessed 10% Late Fee.

Non-Refundable Deposit: At the time of booking, Beach Sand Sculptures shall reserve the date and time of booked SandCastle Lesson, and not making any other reservations or accept any other clients for said date and time for designed Mobile Unit. For this reason, 15% of each Guest Resort Services SandCastle Lesson agreement price shall be retained in order to offset its loss of business. A SandCastle Lesson may be scheduled later in the week per agreement. Whole Day Weather Cancellations will be fully refunded.

Weather: ON THE DAY OF YOUR SANDCASTLE LESSON – If the weather is questionable, plan your SandCastle Lesson as scheduled. The decision to cancel your SandCastle Lesson, due to inclement weather, will be determined by your SandCastle Coach at any time before or during a SandCastle Lesson. A SandCastle Lesson is deemed complete when the demonstration portion has been provided. The “demonstration portion” of a SandCastle Lesson is defined as the initial pound-up and carve, of the demonstration tower.

Whole Day Weather Cancellations Beach Sand Sculptures Management Team will contact you via email before 9:00 a.m. the day of your scheduled SandCastle Lesson when there is a Whole Day Weather Cancellation. Reply to this email if you are unable to re-book and desire a receive a refund per policy. Wait for the Management Team to contact you via phone to attempt to re-book your SandCastle Lesson. Our goal is to provide your scheduled SandCastle Lesson, as many times it is difficult to re-book. If your SandCastle Lesson is canceled by your SandCastle Coach due to inclement weather we, a) attempt to reschedule, OR b) refund per policy.

The safety of clientele and SandCastle Coaches is our #1 concern. Florida’s high humidity and the nature of building SandCastles will cause participants to become wet, therefore a little bit of rain is no concern during a lesson. Lightning and high winds are of much greater concern. Florida weather changes quickly.

Cancellation/Change Order: changes require notification of BSS, in writing ([email protected]), 48 hours in advance of booked SandCastle Lesson to receive a refund (per policy) less Non-Refundable Retainer. Failure to provide adequate advance notice (48 hours) in writing will result in a full charge for services.

Refund: There are NO REFUNDS provided with a cancellation of fewer than 48-hour notice of scheduled service. Service which incurs weather related cancellation (determined by the SandCastle Coaches) will be a) attempted to re-book OR b) receive a refund (per policy) less Non-Refundable Retainer.

SPECIALTY SAND SCULPTURES or EVENTS

Specialty Sand Sculptures are defined as; Logos, Sandvertising, Wedding, Marriage Proposals, any form of sand sculpture (excludes SandCastle Lessons).

Events are defined as; Team Building, SandCastle Contests, Demonstrations, Performance Art, or any other activity incorporating any form of, marketing, advertising, of Beach Sand Sculptures services.

Outside of 30 Days: Specialty Sand Sculpture or Event canceled outside of 30 days of booking shall receive up to 100% of Retainer (50% of Total Project) fewer project expenses plus 10% Overhead.

Inside of 30 Days: Specialty Sand Sculpture or Event canceled within 30 days of booking shall be refunded up to 50% of Retainer (25% of Total Project) fewer project expenses plus 10% Overhead.

Weather Cancelled: Specialty Sand Sculpture or Event canceled due to inclement weather (via agreement of BSS and Client) shall be refunded up to 50% of Retainer (25% of Total Project), fewer project expenses plus 10% Overhead (see Weather Policy below).

Weather Policy: We will be monitoring the weather. The day of your Specialty Sand Sculpture or Event(s,) if the weather is questionable, BSS will contact Client in the AM to discuss options (i.e. move forward, cancel, reschedule, and/or modify services).

Change Order: Specialty Sand Sculpture or Event ALL/ANY changes inside 30 days will be assessed a $200.00 Change Order Fee plus any additional expenses associated with booking changes plus 10% Overhead. Subject to availability.

Incorrect Booking Information: Incorrect Date, Incorrect Time, Incorrect Booking Location, Incorrect Time Zone; Beach Sand Sculptures, nor their agencies, nor third party, shall not be held responsible for incorrect booking information. Booking Confirmation emails are sent out immediately upon booking. Read through all correspondence when received and confirm information. Late Fee: Due to the nature of sand sculptures it is necessary for security at all times. Therefore, BSS will not leave a contracted sand sculpture without security. Fifteen minutes after the delivery time per booking, a Client is deemed late. A Late Fee will be assessed at $100.00/hr rate, charged at $25.00/15 min. increments (e.g. Client is 18 min late = $25.00 Late Fee).

No Show Policy: Failure to provide adequate advance notice of 30 days in writing to ([email protected]) will result in the full charge for services scheduled. See Cancellation and Re-booking/Change Order.

Travel/Lodging/Per Diem: Beach Sand Sculptures is located in Santa Rosa Beach, FL (NW Florida). Any and all services provided outside our current service locations will be assessed accordingly.
